Transcend from Truth..
nice job guys. i really like number 2 a lot… it has a very cool vibe to it.
Very Cool. Yes I agree image 2 is stronger, I think its the color in image 01 that is a little off. Background of them are great.
Appreciate the comments..

Transcend From Within*
Thanks For The Comments, in image 1 is the orange or green throwing it off ? I think it maybe that the shadow has to much orange in it,might balance out better with gray tones….
nice image, but what is that bug / circle doing there? scary!
Subtle Transparencies - Transcend Human…Who am I?
You guys are doing an incredible job keeping the colors and look the same. Way to go!
I also like the haunting nature of these images. I never really thought of transcendence as something to fear, but this is an interesting take - even if unintentional.
PS: bharper - it looks like the circle was pulled from IMG02. I guess the bug is gonna be prevelant throughout.
You two doing these in a 3d app? They are really nice.
The Haunting essence is something that just happens. I cannot speak for Eurip but their was no fear based intention for my design, We are conveying transcendence and by this we break the barriers of thought. The fact that one see the design as haunting creates a perfect balance of Positivity
But if its fear you want…Just wait!
p.s. Just figure design in 3-D
Thanks Again for the critiques, same here i had no intensions of
createing a hauting feel, conveying transcendence in an image is quite abstract, im really pleased with the evolution of this logue.
dawm uploaded wrong file………………..
learned once its up its up….%# Learning ………..
Ok - ya, that sucks Eurip… and the thumb looks good too.
maybe Dr. Inman can fix it.
yes, get ahold of inman. Hey should be able to help.
Thanks guys,i sent him an email,
I’m on it. Just waiting for the correct image to appear in my inbox.
I sent him the new image should be up soon, thanks
well… i guess i will be the first to rate IMG05.
I am not scared - I love this image. It is beautiful and, to me, fits well, conceptually, in this theme.
You guys are doing an outstanding job.
Great image glad you where able to get it up. I just added this to one of my Favorite DSNLG, what a wonderful job.
thanks again, the lotus should be posting soon
Whos your God?
This shit is hot!
The only thing I don’t like about this is your signature. Has nothing to do with the image or concept. Otherwise it’s tight.
This designologue might win the “most consistant style,” award. You two are like those evil twins from GIJOE. Only instead of feeling each others pain… you create the same designs… or something…
Thank you Rev.Dr.Luv - Now I know and Knowing is half the battle.
just what bharper said… this shit IS hot! all of these images are so damn pleasing to look at.
great job you guys!
Image #1 kinda sucks. But, the first one is never good.
And the white doves are a little out of place to me.
ya i agree, image one is wak compared to were we have taking this logue, the image was more symbolic like 3. 2. 1 take off, since we are new to this site…
I would agree that the doves are out of place, but the image is fantastic. Perhaps if the opacity of those peaceful feathered friends was kicked waaaaay down till they were barely there? I think that might do it, it would be more subtle and I like that. The mood of this image is scerene and I think the doves have to be more subtle to be scerene.
Damn Wizdom..Dropin Knowledge. Yeah, you know what - I think I agree, I got a little too excited with the weight our feathered friends, appreciate all the comments. Any feedback is good feedback!
I’m just so happy to see Ganesh in a dsnlg. He’s a great guy. One with an elephant head mind you, but a great one all the same.
I’d like to see the source Ganesh photo.
yea, i’d like to see all the sources from these. lotsa hotness. I liked the first one. but each one’s gotten better after that (with the possible exception of 5…still tight, but a little too close to ‘journey’ album art for me.)
love the color and texture on ol’ Ganesh

EuRip, I like this image. I feel, on a couple of your images, that you are not using the space as well as you could. you have these highly detailed and ornate objects, but they are just placed on the page in a corner. Compared to the other images, they don’t have the same presence on the screen.
I wish I could see more of the details in this image and I wish you had spent more time integrating the objects into the rest of hte page.
bharper are you serious, if you look a these images they are set with a main design on one side of the page, with a lite design carrying the eye out, may be its just me but i really think this design flows well with this logue. MAYBE i Should referrer to designologue Richmond to Boston image 4 for esthetic appeal , since the craftsmenship is outstanding…..
On an other note these images were created from scratch in a 3d app with a little photoshop juice …..thanks for the feed back,…..
P.s. bharper i think your off on this one………..
no need to get all defnesive. i very well may be off.
but, in your response, you do mention how part of the page is “lite design carrying the eye out”.. .
so, i think we both agree that part of the page is less used then the other.
just seems a little off balanced to me is all. i love the work, dont get me wrong.
and i don’t know if that was some sort of insult against my 4th image on Boston Richmond. I’m not really sure what you were trying to say. I wouldn’t appeal to that logue for anything tho, as it’s not the best.
bharper,Im not mad and im glad you like the image, its just that you rated this image lowest out of all the rest on this logue due to something
that really has to do not with the image,it seem more to do with the over all look of all the images i have posted.
the refferance to the boston logue has to do with the fact that you say the image i posted did not look intergrated well. Just Pratice what you speak and never preach, just be clear
No Hard Feeelings
oh, so it was an insult. cool.
i’m certainly not preaching anything. if you read my comments for boston/richmond, you would see that i am very disatisfied with that logue.
i’m only making a small point which is that all your efforts are concentrated in a small portion of the page. #7 could be cropped in half and it wouldnt gain or loose any value.
with my feedback, atleast i am providing a specific issue why i gave it the rating that i did, opposed to a vague attack on how unintegrated my image is.
i’d love to hear why you think my image is so poorly integrated.
Comments and critiques are wonderful, but if a design is done differently than how you would have done it, Respect it, Cherish it, for that is the key element in Evolution
hey… what’s wrong with JOURNEY?!
This entire conversation is pissing me off.
It has nothing to do with doing things differently then me.
It has to do with composition and using the space.
Which, I think EuRip has done a poor job of the last two images.
So do u recommend putting every strong Image dead center just like you have in almost all your logues,
Cause i’m kinda new to this whole making pictures thing.
Also Harp I really appreciate all your comments and interest you put into this site, but referring to your post about you not being satisfied with your Richmond to Boston logue. Why would you even upload it then? Have integrity with your design, don’t present until you feel confident that you are satisfied.
Wow~~It’s getting kinda hot in here.
I have digested both Eurip and bharper comments. I’m not trying to decide who is right or wrong. This is how “I” see the images. I have to agree with bharper about the composition. I don’t think he means that you have to put the subject matter in dead center. A composition should have a nice flow throughout the page. And we have this beautiful 3d subject here. but that all we are looking at. As harper said, if we cut off the left part of this image, it wouldn’t affect anything, because there is nothing on the left side. What I am trying to say is it is a gorgeuos 3d rendering OBJECT, but not neccessary a nice BALANCED composition.
I guess I understand what Eurip means about lite design carrying the eyes out. But do you think this lite design is a little too minimalistic?
We are all designer with different perspective. so, I don’t expect one has to agree with others. From both of your comments and others, I learned something. So..THANK YOU ^____^ HEE HEE HEE
“Don’t get mad, get GLAD!!”
…to get more specific about the composition issues, you created a very awkward sliver of white space under the foot of your figure by placing it extremely close to the edge of the composition. It creates a visual vibration that is not in harmony with the rest of your image, or this logue as a whole.
Eurip and Neonlotus: You need to learn to take critique gracefully (and to take it with a grain of salt). It is ok to defend your choices, but it is not cool to defend your work by attacking the work of someone else. If you have some advice to offer on an image it should be done in the appropriate place, at the appropriate time.
B: You need to learn to be a little more articulate with your critique bud. Not only will it help the creator understand what you are seeing, it will keep people from getting pissy with you (not always… but most of the time hopefully ;D).
Thanks for laying down the law guys.
I can learn to be more articulate. Often times I am in a rush, or don’t spend the energy to get into great detail, but I like to say what I see. This site is for growth afterall.
I also have a lot to learn about composition. Which is evident by my recent participation on bearskinrugs website
and for the last fucking time, I know that Boston Richmond is not a great series. I think some of my images are mildly succesful, considering the weak theme. And while I strive to always post my best work, I hate when people just leave dsnlgs unfinished. I try to plow through them, even if they are not perfect.
Hey Harp thats a pimp ass site, Creative concept.
Lets put the bullshit behind us..This logue is almost over and Im excited for the next, but truly its all the designer interaction that feeds me. I love to hear what other designers think about my work as well as hear their input on other projects.
Maybe we should do a dsnlg together.
Well i’m down, if you want..Set it off…
i just hope my computer does not blow away in this nasty hurricane..
whats our theme?
Suprise me playa…
thats what im talkin about, good looks on pointin that
out Doc. that leg does look to close to the edge.
it did get a little warm in here before but its all good, harper that shits in the past,im here for the same reason that you are to bum rush these logues and not to leave any unfinished,im a design junkie so lets keep these things movin.
yo lotus the cribs is still in one peice,
you guys are making this stuff from scratch? I was a little worried that it was all from the same source, but if YOU’re the source, then I’m way impressed.
I liked the previous ones, but #7 feels unfinished. The image is quite nice, but it feels very smooth… could do with a bit more contrast or texture
thanks lincon , ya i made them from scratch except for image 1, i use a photo for that one, i wish i modeled it but i rush that post..
Bumfluff , i agree i think more contrast would help give it more depth… the colors kind of washes together. i was kind of going for that effect, but it may of look better with a bit more contrast..
New here, and first order of business is to put this DSNLG in my favourites list.
All the images are consistently good, but #6 is the absolute canines cojones.
Great palette, great style, great attention to detail.
Love the images here- great DSNLG
It was a bit difficult, I had so many ideas but I really wanted to stay within the theme..
So I went nice and simple.
well done guys. this is an awesome dsnlg - it really has its own flavor.
The love the eye/face in the last image. wonderful job. I hope to see more.
the style of this logue is not my cup of proverbial tea, but in the words of the Pixies: i am amazed. Damn, this is tight. Very very nice.
Thanks for the posts again,ya im really happy the way this turned out.this is my first complete logue and the funny thing is this was not really my cup of tea either. this logue really had a spiritual feel to it (at least at the end), my style is alot more rough, it was really quite refreshing.
Now Lets see what comes along….
POST BILLS FOR LIFE
Freshness is key:
Excuse me while I add this to my faves.. :)
This is my favorite series on the whole site. The colors, the flow, the depth, great work!
