zdoob All of the red in image 2 immediately reminded me of a certain band - which I happen to really dislike…
V nice parody of the ‘Stripes’, and keep uses elements from both previous images. Smart too. More or less keeps with the theme, I think? From what I gather (I’m new here), this thread is what a designlologue is supposed to be.

Nice treatment on the headshot! The line and type treatment at the bottom feels a little tight though. Nice bowtie Napster, you sell out. ;D

one thing that’s a little distracting:
the 2 different colors of the tail
shite… thats what i forgot to do… the shadows underneath the characters… that why his tail is darker than the rest…

yeah, this is a great logue. almost every image has taken a different direction, but you still manage to always incorporate the previous one and stick to the theme

personally I thought the last one was the one of the bests..for this logue…to bad it’s gone…anything that makes me laugh..is great in my book… invz… I like your last image it fits well…with all that happened…
it’s interesting that the thumbnail from the original image stays… kinda cool - like a nod.
unfortunately, it looks like if you voted on the original image, you can’t vote on the new one. i guess this image must carry the burden of the lower score of the previous?
i think the image looks cool, and is clever… but it doesn’t really follow the progression.

zdoob, you should refresh or clear your cache, this image’s thumb should be loading. As for the ratings, that’s not something I considered. I’ll see if there’s an easy way to wipe the existing ratings for the old image. I can’t promise anything though since the rating storage system is just dumb. I didn’t know what I was doing when I developed it. Not a lot has changed ;D
Ugh, yeah, very dumb storage technique. Fortunately only 10 people had rated it so I cleared the existing rating count, sum and average and then deleted the reference to this image from everyone’s list of rated images. Done. Then I gave this image a 3. The only thing that kept if from fourdom is the lack of reference to the previous image (number 7 not the old number 8). You’re a good sport VZ.

The minimum doesn’t surprise me. The average and maximum both seem low though. Goes to show how active the average member really is. Out of 750 members, 277 have never rated an image. Hmmm.
Is that 750 members who can vote? I know that I have been lazy and not done a one off so I can’t vote yet.
Bam, good point Beerad. Not all 750 are able to vote. My head is still addled by the medicine no doubt.

i noticed the yellow bar, and one could argue that you also reused some design concepts from image 4, but you and I both know that each of these images had some meaning that progressed through the series… not just design elements. :p
regardless… i’m just glad it’s back and you rocked the last image.
