Hillarious yet only because it reflects truth. I love everyone in their SUV with an American flag decal right on the hood. NICE! Good touch Rev.Dr.Luv!

RevDrLuv

Wow, I never thought anyone would notice that detail since it is so small. Good eye glorymachine.

this took a long time to come around. hey reinvest in the american war machine. oh wait, i suppose america is doing that for us. how thoughtful.

Heavy, what’d you do to your thumbnail? It was broken I had to save a new one for you. Did you save for web as a jpg?

heavy

i’m up to my old tricks and accidentally saved it as cmyk and uploaded it before i realized it, sorry bout that inman! thank you for correcting it however…

inman

If you use “Save for web…” you shouldn’t have that problem since it automatically converts it to RGB…

heavy

yeah yeah yeah. you’re smart, i’m stupid. you are good looking, i am not very attractive.

heh heh heh i mean thanks for the tip. i meant to do that, but all these fancy web features mean nothing to us print designers. i guess i need to evolve my hulking prehistoric designer brain or fall by the wayside and make way for the future. zip pow blam.

can we get back to commenting about images now?

glorymachine

hmmm, if I am not mistaken that is a communist star on that tank turret. Does not really go with the American flag tint.

heavy

fair enough, you caught me. perhaps i should stop drinking heineken. got their damn red stars all up in my head. good one glory.

bharper

man, with all this american imagery going on(this one and pro war campagn) i am dying to do some anti war imagery.. who wants to do it? Innman, can i start a log with myself, to secure my logs hndle? haha..

What is this Rev? A large scale revival? I’m really digging the subtleties in this one. Been a while since we’ve had inflammatory dialogue about US world policy. ;D

RevDrLuv

I would say that this is more of a stepping back and looking at world events as an outsider, not letting patriotism skew the facts.

If you incite violence, you in turn receive violence.

But to get back to the topic, where does all this money spent on war get the US and it’s economy. Oh wait… there was a multi-million dollar oil pipeline across Afghanistan project in the works for years. The Taliban shut down the construction because they wanted to keep western influence out of their country. Guess what the very first thing that the new government of Afghanistan that we established deliberated on?

bharper

visually, #3 is real nice. colors, composition, etc. the first 2 are funny, but not that good.

fashionvictim

boy you’re just full of those nuggets of wisdom today aren’t you?

xavi

bharper, I’m attached with you. If you want we can begin a paceful dsnlg.

All of us know that war is probabily the engine that moves world economy but… isn’t there any hope? Shure, I’m talking so soon about that but here we have 2/8 savingtheus_economy war related images. Maybe we are recieving a lot of bellic inputs but maybe we can seek some kind of alternative, don’t you think? That’s one of the essence of our job, in fact…

I miss positivity lastly. Talking about that… someone else to dsgnlg positivity in the room?

heavy

wow, i got a lot of work to do to come out of retirement. rev., you stepped this up a bit didn’t ya?

this is damn fine work, so many subtle details…i love it, i only hope i do it justice!

RevDrLuv

HEAVY!!! You came back!

How’s it going man? You in New York still?
