Ahhh, good ole’ Richmond, Va. Pride of the South.
Welcome 2 Boston
The beginning of a narrative.
#2… whould not be better with a handscripted or black typo?
cool way guys!
I agree, #2’s font is a bit modern looking, but I like the tone the picture of the couple set … old-school!
I like the composition of #3 but I would’ve like to see some wear-n-tear or some kind of fading!
Yeah, I probably should have added some good ole’ wear and tear. I do agree about #2 though, I was wishing he would have hand written it, or used some really old typewriter font, something. Still, this is working out well so far, considering the first image was complete crap.
I knew that I would catch flack for my text choice and I did it anyways.
I LIKE IT!
Cool guys looking good. Looks like you have a nice story going on here.
i like it alot! :sits in chair waiting for the logue to progress:
I have had a couple of ideas on how to take this next image. One idea I had was to step in to the next generation and write a follow up letter to the grandchildren of the current cast of characters, maybe in the form of an “e-mail”
I’d really like to follow allong with the story but I don’t know much about richmond or points inbetween.
Sorry for the delay in response to this logue…
like a river in the desert, i’ve felt this theme drying up rather quickly…
not sure i have taken this to the best next step, but lets just keep plugging away..
Okay Harp buddy, I decided to take this in a new direction for the both of us. The current direction was going nowhere fast and I think this may give it some flavor.
Ok than, the images in design 3 work placed on the wood ,for image 4 the wood seems to stop the flow of the eye. i think even having the paper push off the canvas might solve this,
oh when using drop shadows to intergrate a design always keep the light perspective consistant, all three of these objects have differant light sources, doing so helps keep things looking more realistic
If I see another faux-TV product advertisement as a DSNLG image, I will die due to hemmoraging of the face.
*bharpers face hemmorages allover the internet
Agreed. I think mine was first though. Do I get a prize for that, or a swift kick in the marbles?
If I see another face hemorrhaging all over the internet someone’s getting a swift kick in the marbles.
I think we got a little lost. Maybe we can bring this ship right round.
this i like!
hate to be THAT guy, but its ‘totally’
looks good otherwise.
is there a little bit of green around your black there or am I just imagining it. am I supposed to stare at for 60 seconds and then look at a white wall?
maybe he meant to post this one in no. 307: Almost Perfict. ;)
i love it… aside from the spelling, you could’ve spent a little more time connecting the Ss (esses) - would’ve gotten a 4 from me.
i’m very anxious to see where the wiz takes it from here.
crap! that’s an error on my part. Totally!
And, yea, I should have connected the Esses better.
But SJP was on TBS and the cats and wife were on the couch. My attention was dwindling. And yea, theres a 4 px green stroke with like a 40 percent opacity around the esses.
Sorry for the lack of solution to my own problem guys. The picture wouldn’t fit right in the perameters so I just added more background. So sew me ;) I’ll do better in my next logue.
it’s spelt “sue” moron.
Oh. My. God.
It would have been ridiculously easy to make it look like the top bar went all the way across. My grandma coulda even figured it out (she is online these days :D). Damn that’s lazy! No cookie for you.
And B, the “totaly” wasn’t intentional??? For SHAME! hahaha
not to rant.. but your last two images are way off of the theme…. i used to do images that responded to the crowd… based on comments …etc… but, now i feel like these are just a little stale.. a little pre-fab.. but, im glad you’ve got them out of your system now.. i did my share of these images too…
don’t forget.. the theme is the theme…
Yawn, it’s been done.
It’s been a long trip. I’m sorry to see you leave. Travel well.
Phew! No spelling mistakes in this one! :P
SIGH… well it got done =)
“Yawn, it’s been done.”
…more than once.
(ok that one isn’t specifically about spelling, but same sort of visual)
