i’m excited about this one. c.ram, i’m floored by this one. the iconic figures in the background are great. i think that the theme for this one will spur some great imagery, especially with taco.

the placement of the word control is absolutely spot on. the first logue in the background could be a bit lighter just to bring out the illustration.

I dunno, maybe I like it better the way it is. Just made it darker and it doesn’t look right.
I was going for a faded look in the first place. like a fog or cloud of smoke over the image.
It actually looks best if you stand back a few feet.

the font is whack, I TOTALLY AGREE… It isn’t even a font, it is some strange font that doesn’t really exist that just default renders like that. I have no clue where it came from and my computer doesn’t recognize it. It is somewhere in my system folder, but I can’t find it. It isn’t properly named or it is hidden. I actually think it is a ghost font that haunts me. I think pixel fonts are kinda played out now, but somehow I thought adding COMMUNICATION FAILURE! in some font that was the resultant of several communication errors, would actually make for an interesting sidenote to the piece.

John Stossel (one of the only journalists I trust) just put out a book called ‘Give me a Break’ about scam artists. he talks about why local news will pick stories that scare and hype over others that are more real and newsworthy.

images 1, 3, and 4 all had great white backgrounds. THen you toss images 5 in there that is way to black. Other images had a clean cut look.. the last image I don’ know just not working for me.
