how exactly did you make this image?
Basically its a 3D version of the London Underground network map. Had to recreate it in 2D vector format, then exported to 3D, extruded it, added lights, texture, colours etc, then a last little bit of touching up in pshop.
sorry mate ill get something up soon. Got an idea just have to find some time to puty it together!

Clever idea, but not so keen on the execution. Clipped and chopped brick walls are never pretty.
Smellycat - I found a gif version of it, so photoshop, although I have it in vector format from when I did the first pic. Do you need a copy?
Rev - Totally agree about the execution, It could have been a lot better. I really should have left it a while and had another look at it before posting it, its hard to look at it objectively when you’ve been working on something for a while… still, I’ll know for next time :)

seem to be heading in a more “graphicky” direction now… next one could be fun, and I’ll try not to be so impatient with it (learnt my lesson from the last).

Nice subject, I’m in London too, there’s definately plenty of material! My favourite image is probably number 4 as I’m a sucker for vectors & perspective, but I love the hidde object in the tube map. Nice, I like the postcard idea… seems a good way to finish. It’s funny, with London being a touristy place and all, I never really though of postcards..
A suggestions though: don’t use a hadnwritten font for something like this - write it yourself and scan it, it looks more natural.
So, what’s our next logue? :)
Trying to get that “cold foggy morning, waiting for the last tube home” feel… but without being too obvious about it.
