Let´s get furious!

I really like this image. It has a lot of energy. My only criticism is that the type could use some kerning. That weird handle on the R pushes it away from the O making all the other letters feel cramped together by comparison.

Where are those shapes coming from? 3d?

Villi

thanks for the comment. I guess your right about the type it could have used a bit of kerning I kind of forgot to take a closer look at it before posting it. I made all the shapes in illustrator, brought them into photoshop and just played around with them until I felt the image had the energy and speed it needed. I usually make all my designs in Illustrator before bringing them over to Photoshop.

nice imagery but it would be nice to see a little more color… but just the same i like it a lot.

.there was something screaming inside your image.

[ouch, I think I’ve buried your graphix]

Wow. Any association to Attik esteban? That’s just like, BOOM!

Like when you’ve got the bass all the way up and take the cover off of a speaker to watch the cone have a seizure. Nice work!

Can you explain some of the techniques you used? How’d you create that glow and ballon the text? Thanks!

esteban

i’ve tried to visualize something furiously screamin’ don’t know what, but inside; something that tries to go outside — thanks 4 comment there are two photo-layer (a sparkling fusion, a close-up of electric stuff) one fake text layer, and some graphic element. Below there’s villi’s canvas. I’ve changed the hue to red, duplicated the graphics and resized the below copies (that’s the blowing impression). Once added the text layer, i’ve duplicated it and applied some spherize and negative pinch. Last touch is try to give the glowin’ light effect whit some radial gradients, and centering the pinched graphic. The rest is blending.

I hope that my explanation is comprehensible. c ya

Your image had a kind of a sound quality to it. It was almost like you could hear the boom from it. So in my image here I have a music reference “welcome to the terrordome” wich is taken from the Public Enemy album Fear of a black planet. All that rage and fury going on here, I like it!

GANGSTA TOUCH! Yeah man, great shot, I like it also, I could hear the boom-cha.

Nice colours. Powerfull feeling about them.

Number 2 is my fav so far. Nice simple effects put to good use.

stormshadow

i agree on the kerning. its a very furious image but the type doesnt seem to quite fit. its almost too static and bold (not as in bold typeface but more like in your face away - from - the - background bold) perhaps more “motion” could have been added to the type.

other wise the image is very nice.

Nice job, estaban…Any insight into how you created this? I’m pretty damn interested…

Actually in interested in how the last 5 were created!

inman

I’m going to say radial blur and overlay layer effects… How close was I esteban?

jel3

your boy loves that blur…

hehehe

RevDrLuv

This looks like a still from a motion graphics piece. I dig.

esteban

hi guyz the only source that I’ve used was the Villi’s artwork as the canvas. Later I’ve used some clouds+radial blur (many)+spot lighting+equalize+colorization and I’ve got the explosion. The rayoflightin text was a good old tecnique with polar coordinates and wind effect. And some more blur, of course.

thankyouall many thanks to villi esteban
