Sweet! I really like how the subtle grey gradients add depth to this image. Nice job.

}{ whooo, whooo, whooo do you think you are? }{
snazzy dresser? stunning stylist? linguistic casanova?
i believe i have a grasp of these elusive emoticons relish in the sunlight now my fair fellow; the time is nigh to prove how worthy an adversary you may be.
The owl stalks it’s prey with predator vision. Nocturnal in nature, it lurks in the darkness.
Beware Big Brother is always watching you!
I saw an amazing film onSunday.

are they pukin’ or what? i know its gross, but i can’t discern exactly what the “F” they are doin..
Yes, they are vomiting the ill expressed.
I like this image! It’s clever and pleasing to my eye!
you got that strait… i wont even walk near that place.
That’s great
I like this image because it’s poking fun at the last image (i just don’t get what you’re saying Sinplexc), but you seem to be slowly losing the purity of the idea. Or maybe just evolving it. What do I know?
I think I hear what you’re saying, Aarseth. While this image is funny, there’s a lot of non-emoticon elements being added…
Are you talking about Image 03 or 04 Aarseth?
this designologue is not just about emoticons :).
its about who they are, what makes them who they are, the daily experiences and interactions that affect their emotions; that which builds these emotions that are ultimately expressed through their outward appearance.
not just happy, sad, regretful, joyous, afraid, worried or whatever… but why it is so.
Still I would like to have seen some emoticon artwork on the walls
yes… i can see your point. i obviously spent less time on the background as i wanted not to draw attention away from the emoticons themselves. but now that you mention it; i realize that emoticon art probably would have supported the theme and my previous statement better than the current background.
i finished and posted image04 right before i had to leave for work… i think in my haste to post; the importance of the background being emoticon focused was simply overlooked. i need to let my images soak for a few hours in self-critique-ville before i post em.
it would be cool if there was some sort of preview stage for these comments.. or an opportunity to redo the same picture after all of the critisism.. unfortunately, we always move on to another image.. while the comments influence our knowledge, we never have the chance to correct an image, or see how it might be better if it were different. it might be cool to do a dsnlg on one image, or 2 images as a chance to re work them a bit.
